Environment set up
Environment set up is how you’ll get started on the cloud platform. You can have an AWS or Azure environment.
You’ll move through the different stages of onboarding with help from our team.
This lets us learn more about what you’ll be using the cloud platform for. We'll use this information to decide how to set up things up for you.
The stages include:

filling in a checklist

filling in a form about your landing zone

agreeing and signing a statement on work
Once you've completed these stages, we'll give access to your environment.
Checklist
You’ll fill in a checklist to let us know information about your organisation and your workloads. A workload is a collection of environments you need to build and run each of your applications.
We need to know things about your workload like:

is it existing or new
-
what you’ll use it for
-
what your architecture is like
-
how your users do ID authentication
-
how you manage your source code
This lets us set up your environment properly.
We’ll also ask about your business, including questions about:

your budget
-
what activities your team currently do
-
your back up and recovery plans
Finally in your checklist, we’ll ask about your:

networking
-
data
-
security
Landing zone form
Your landing zone form is where you’ll fill in the details of what your landing zone on the platform should be like.
This includes more details about your:

environment type (AWS or Azure)
-
environment purpose (like development or test)
-
contacts and roles
-
IP addresses
-
networking needs
Statement of work
Before you onboard, you’ll get a statement of work to sign. This includes final information about your accounts and subscriptions. It also includes a plan with completion dates for your landing zone deployment.
When we've deployed your landing zone, we'll send you a welcome pack. This includes instructions on how to access your landing zone.
Who can use environment set up
All users on the platform.
You must be able to meet your responsibilities for environment set up to join the platform.
How to get environment set up
Once you've filled out your enquiry form and met with us, we'll send you a link to sign up for an onboarding account for our customer portal.
This is where you'll fill in your checklist and landing zone information.
How much environment set up costs
There's no cost for onboarding. Your costs start when you have a landing zone.
