Your responsibilities for IAM

You’ll need to:

• manage the users in your group through Okta
• manage the permission levels of your groups and who can access them
• do RBAC assignments to your groups to add or take away members in your groups (users with owner roles)
• use multi-factor authentication when managing your users
• follow our naming conventions when creating new users for groups

Our responsibilities for IAM

The cloud platform team will:

• set up groups and create roles, so you can manage permissions within your accounts
• do role-based access control (RBAC) assignments to these groups, not individual users
• assign each group a role
• set up permissions for you (a set of policies given to accounts, subscriptions, users and groups)
