GitHub licences

We offer a GitHub licences service. It includes a GitHub enterprise licence that we manage for you. This means we can offer access to Github on a monthly basis.

You can change and manage the number of users who have access based on your needs. You do not have to buy licenses upfront. You'll control who has access through your Okta groups.

As part of the service, you'll get:

  • source control from GitHub Repositories

  • continuous integration and delivery from GitHub Actions

  • security scanning from GitHub Advanced Security

  • access to Enterprise-level GitHub support

  • contract management and procurement done for you

Using the service means you’ll spend less time setting up your source control and pipelines.  We'll set up some baseline policies for you. You'll have to migrate your existing repositories yourself.

GitHub is a US hosted service.

You must read your responsibilities of using GitHub licences.

Who can get GitHub licences

You must be able to meet your Github licences responsibilities to use the service.

  • what their roles are (like testers, security engineers)

  • who'll be in charge of your GitHub users

How much GitHub licences cost
